This (Battle of the Little Bighorn) series was just spectacular!
Ive been a student of the Custer Battle and 1876 Indian Wars for many years and while visiting Montana a week or so ago shooting the Quigley Match at Forsyth, three of us from Eau Claire, Wisc., purchased the first issue of June 17 and had to have every issue thereafter, although we had to pull some off the Internet.
Your staff writers were just the greatest on this subject. I read things Ive never seen before.
We visited the Custer Battlefield on Thursday June 21st, visited rancher friends around Volborg and had just a great time in Montana! I play in a bluegrass band and will be back in September to participate in the Miles City Bluegrass Festival and will feel right at home.
