A Billings man who prosecutors said is responsible for his infant’s three broken bones now faces felony charges.
Sean Tyler Kostelecky, 22, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to three counts of assault on a minor, a felony. Bond has been set at $50,000.

On March 19, Laurel Police detectives responded to St. Vincent Healthcare to investigate the case of an infant with a broken clavicle, femur and radius, charges state. A doctor’s report found that the injuries were the result of “inflicted trauma.”
In an interview with law enforcement, Kostelecky said he had likely broken the baby’s bones while handling him and that the baby had screamed and he felt bad. He said he was frustrated because he could not get the child to calm down.
