A 29-year-old woman was arrested Monday in Billings on suspicion of stabbing someone in the Heights.
The suspect, Jayme Messerly, was charged with assault with a weapon. Messerly remained in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility Monday afternoon where she was listed with additional charges for felony probation violation and failure to appear in court.
A 29-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to a social media post by Billings Police Department Sgt. Tina Hoeger.
The stabbing was reported to police at about 3:15 a.m. on the 1500 block of Governors Boulevard, according to Hoeger.
