CASPER, Wyo. — Sheriff's deputies early Tuesday morning arrested an Oklahoma man on suspicion of trying to run over the manager of a Natrona County strip club with a car.
Authorities say Karl G. Gustke, 33, of El Reno, Oklahoma, also pointed a gun at the manager and threatened him with a stick.
According to court documents, the manager of Racks Saloon told deputies he asked Gustke to leave the bar at about 2 a.m. The two men began to argue and the manager walked Gustke out the door. Gustke turned around, the manager said, and the manager — thinking Gustke was threatening him — slapped Gustke, who fell to the ground, the documents state.
Gustke went to his car and pulled a 10-inch long stick out of the trunk and started walking toward the manager, Anthony MacMillan, the documents state MacMillan told police. MacMillan got a baseball bat from behind the bar, he told police. Gustke got in his car.
MacMillan said Gustke drove at him twice. MacMillan stepped behind a guard rail both times, the documents state. Gustke got out of the car and pointed a gun at MacMillan, MacMillan told deputies. MacMillan then went into the club, locked the door and called 911.
Deputies arrested MacMillan at about 2:30 a.m.
