U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders will hold a free public rally in Billings on Saturday, May 20, to support the campaign of Democrat Rob Quist for Montana's lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Sanders will be at the Billings Depot from 8:30-9:30 p.m.
He will also be at the Wilma Theater in Missoula from 11 a.m. to noon and at the Butte Civic Center from 3 to 4 p.m. On Sunday, he will appear at the Union Building Ballroom in Bozeman from 11 a.m. to noon.
Quist, a musician from the Flathead Valley, is running against Greg Gianforte, a Republican businessman from Bozeman, and Mark Wicks, a Libertarian farmer from Inverness.

They are campaigning to replace former U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke, who was tapped by President Trump to be Interior Secretary earlier this year.
Sanders is an Independent from Vermont. He won Montana's Democratic primary election last year, defeating Democrat Hillary Clinton with a populist message that he brought to Missoula for a rally that drew thousands to Caras Park. He also drew a large crowd to a rally at MetraPark in Billings.
