John Walsh

John Walsh filed electronically for the U.S. Senate race Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Plumbers and Pipefitters #41 - his father's union hall. Walsh, a Butte native, was appointed by Gov. Steve Bullock to fill former U.S. Sen. Max Baucus' seat. Baucus left the position to become an ambassador to China.

"I will never forget where I come from," Walsh said to a crowd of about 50 people. "My work ethic and my value system came out of Butte, Montana."
