HAMILTON - An administrator at Hamilton High School has been named Montana's assistant principal of the year.

Joel Stuber and administrators from the other 49 states will be recognized by the National Association of Secondary School Principals this spring in Arlington, Va.

Stuber has worked in education for 28 years and has been the assistant principal at Hamilton High School since 2006.

By winning the state award, Stuber will be considered for the association's national principal-of-the-year award.

The winner receives $5,000.
