Try 1 month for $5

HELENA -- A Helena man charged with sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl has reached a plea agreement in a related federal child pornography case.

Documents filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Helena say Roger Allen Roybal plans to plead guilty to receipt of child pornography. The penalty is between five and 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

A federal judge must approve the agreement. Roybal has pleaded not guilty to a separate count of sexual intercourse without consent that is being prosecuted in state court.

Roybal is charged with molesting the girl multiple times in 2010 at a Missoula hotel, at his home and on hikes. He was 40 at the time.
