BOZEMAN —Authorities say one man is dead and two others are injured after two vehicles collided head-on north of Big Sky.

The Montana Highway Patrol says a Dodge Neon collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck Sunday afternoon on U.S. Highway 191 near the Moose Flat campground.

The crash closed the highway for several hours before it reopened at 7 p.m.

The 23-year-old driver of the Neon died at the scene. Gallatin County officials identified him as Zachary Cole of Bozeman.
