HELENA — A Flathead Valley landlord has been sentenced to a year in prison for his tenants' medical marijuana operation.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy on Monday sentenced 36-year-old Jonathan Janetski to 12 months and a day in prison.
Janetski had previously pleaded guilty to a charge of maintaining a drug-involved premises. The charge stems from the March 2011 federal raids on medical marijuana operations that targeted an operation run by his tenants, Evan Corum, Michael Kassner and Tyler Roe.
Prosecutors say agents recovered 718 marijuana plants from the Kalispell building that Janetski owned and that he helped transform into a grow facility.
The tenants already have been sentenced on federal drug charges.
