The Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly in Livingston will be discontinued because of enrollment challenges, Billings Clinic announced.
Since opening on Oct. 1, 2008, the rural PACE site in Livingston has been unable to enroll a sufficient number of participants who meet the strict Medicaid criteria. Enrollment targets for the rural PACE site were set at 30 participants. However, the site was never able to achieve more than 10 participants at a time.
PACE is an innovative team approach offered to aging family members to help them remain at home by providing an alternative to nursing-home care.
