A Lodge Grass woman who helped steal a cancer patient's medication will spend three years in federal prison.

Chief U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull Thursday sentenced Katrinda Sarah Plain Bull, 28, who pleaded guilty earlier to aiding and abetting robbery.

Plain Bull's boyfriend and co-defendant, Otis Taylor Yellow Mule, 23, of Wyola, was sentenced earlier to 6-1/2 years for his robbery conviction and was banned from Wyola for three years.

The robbery occurred Dec. 12, 2009, when the pair knocked on the door of Kim Boharsky, the victim. When Boharsky refused them entry, Yellow Mule sprayed her with pepper spray while Plain Bull pushed past her. They stole Boharsky's purse and a box containing prescription medicines.

Prosecutor Lori Suek said Boharsky is a cancer patient and is terrified of Yellow Mule.

Plain Bull and Yellow Mule knew Boharsky because she had allowed them to live with her until they were suspected of stealing.
