A 50-year-old man has admitted in Rosebud County District Court to sexually assaulting three teenage girls.
William Leroy Ridenour pleaded guilty to a single felony charge of sexual assault during an appearance last week before Judge Joe Hegel in Forsyth.
Ridenour admitted that, between May 1, 2002, and April 29, 2008, he had sexual contact with three teenage girls.
Ridenour was charged in April 2010 with sexual assault and sexual intercourse without consent.
The charges followed an investigation by Colstrip and state law enforcement authorities that began in 2008 after a 14-year-old girl reported she was raped while she was staying at Ridenour’s home with his teenage daughter.
Prosecutors agreed to dismiss the other charges in exchange for Ridenour’s admission to the single count.
The plea agreement states prosecutors and Ridenour have agreed to recommend that he receive a sentence of 15 years at Montana State Prison, with 12 years suspended.
The agreement states Ridenour will not be eligible for parole for the three years of incarceration.
Ridenour is scheduled to be sentenced on June 20.
