HAMILTON — A 34-year-old transient is jailed on $50,000 bail in Ravalli County after being accused of throwing an object at the windshield of a car that was traveling at highway speed.
The Ravalli Republic reports Nahum Barragan was charged Monday with felony assault with a weapon, felony criminal endangerment and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
Barragan was arrested at a Victor bar on Saturday night, shortly after a woman said a man who was walking along U.S. Highway 93 threw something at her car, shattering her windshield.
The woman says she pulled off the road as quickly as she could and yelled at the man. She described the man to responding deputies and Barragan was arrested a short time later.
