A man died in a rollover crash near Jordan on Wednesday night.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Nissan pickup westbound on Highway 200 when, at about 7:45 p.m. and for an unknown reason, it drifted off of the north side of the road east of Jordan.

The driver over-corrected, and the Nissan went off of the north side of the road and overturned.

During the crash, the man, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the truck and died, the highway patrol said.

His age, hometown and name were not available Thursday morning.

The crash remains under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
