GREAT FALLS — A federal judge here sentenced a Great Falls man on Wednesday to 25 years in prison on methamphetamine charges.
Dale A. Davidson, 45, pleaded guilty earlier to possessing meth with the intent to distribute.
Prosecutors said a state and federal drug task force began investigating Davidson in October 2005 after an informant reported Davidson had drugs and firearms at his home.

With agents monitoring, the informant later purchased meth from Davidson, prosecutors said.
Agents arrested Davidson at his home and confiscated illegal firearms, marijuana, meth and other contraband, prosecutors said.
