MILES CITY — A 65-year-old Miles City man has pleaded guilty to holding a gun to the heads of two men last summer and pulling the trigger a total of four times. The gun malfunctioned and neither man was hurt.
Douglas Robert Larson pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of criminal endangerment. He was initially charged with two counts of attempted deliberate homicide for the June 3, 2012, confrontation at the VFW Club in Miles City.
Court records say Larson was repeatedly kicked out of the VFW Club that night. Prosecutors say Larson came back in a final time and placed a semi-automatic handgun to the heads of both Roger Sprauge and John Jackson and pulled the trigger twice for each man. The gun did not fire.
