Montana received more than 37,000 doses of H1N1 influenza vaccine this week, the state health department announced today.
It is the largest shipment of vaccine the state has received to date and brings to 194,000 the total number of H1N1 flu vaccine doses that have come to Montana.
The state Department of Public Health and Human Services will distribute the vaccine to public health agencies around the state.
The next H1N1 influenza vaccine clinic in Billings is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the MetraPark Montana Pavilion.
It is a booster clinic for children age 9 and under who need a second dose of vaccine. Kids who received their first dose before Nov. 23 can get a booster at the Dec. 19 clinic.
