BOZEMAN — Officials in Belgrade say no charges will be filed against the motorist who stuck a pedestrian last month, causing fatal injuries.
Police Chief E.J. Clark said Michael H. Frimml, 61, was wearing dark clothing and was not at a crosswalk when he started to cross Jackrabbit Lane at about 8 p.m. on March 5. Clark said Frimml stopped suddenly in front of the driver on the five-lane road.
Clark said the 20-year-old driver that struck Frimml was not speeding, impaired or breaking any laws.
Frimml died at the hospital several hours after the collision.
