MISSOULA — A woman has died from injuries she suffered when the semitrailer she was driving skidded off a bridge.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the 55-year-old woman from Oregon died Friday, a day after the accident. Her name has not been released.
The woman was driving eastbound on Interstate 90 on a bridge across the St. Regis River when the accident occurred Thursday morning.
The woman's husband was resting in the sleeper cab and was not injured when the semitrailer jackknifed on a bridge three miles west of St. Regis.
