The Missoula County Sheriff's Office is enlisting the public's help in searching for a man missing since Friday in the Frenchtown area.
Just after midnight on Friday, Sept. 7, Josh Carter walked out of the Frenchtown Club bar, got into his truck alone and drove away. He has not been seen since.
Now, the sheriff’s office and Josh’s family is calling on the media and the Missoula community to help them find him.
Josh’s mother reported that it’s not like her son "to just take off without telling anyone.” The family is unaware of any issues of depression or thoughts of suicide.
Calls to Josh’s cell phone simply go unanswered and search efforts made so far by deputies, family and friends has offered no new information.
Josh was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a yellow and black “CAT” ball cap.
He is a white male, age 27, 5-foot-11 in height, 225 lbs., short black hair and brown eyes.
He was driving a 1974 Ford flatbed pickup, yellow in color, MT license plate 4-34237A.
If anyone has information about Josh’s whereabouts please call the dispatch center at 258-3452.
