Special K Ranch, which provides adults with developmental disabilities a meaningful living and working experience in an agricultural setting, has received two grants.
One is a $15,000 grant from the Charles M. Bair Family Trust. The grant will allow the ranch to make necessary improvements to a building, allowing the facility to be used as a recreational center.
A matching grant of $7,500 came from the PPL of Montana Community Fund.
The grant was matched through a live auction at the Special K Ranch annual dinner. These funds will allow the ranch to erect a new lambing barn.
