ANACONDA — A 13-year-old boy made an initial appearance in Anaconda district court Wednesday on accusations that he sexually assaulted a 4-year-old boy.

The boy, dressed in a green T-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers, denied the allegations in the petition.

Court records said that in January a 4-year-old boy graphically described to a sibling and parents how the teen assaulted him. The preschooler later said during a forensic interview that the older boy had assaulted him on several occasions.

He is scheduled to appear again in court in May.
