GREAT FALLS - A teenager charged in a fatal car crash that happened in Great Falls last month has pleaded not guilty.
According to court documents, Raymond Cochran Jr. pleaded to charges of negligent homicide, negligent vehicular assault and criminal endangerment.
Prosecutors say Cochran, 16, was driving a car that crashed on Oct. 30, striking a concrete traffic island and a fire hydrant, then sliding through the yards of some homes and overturning. Donald "Ty" Rose, 19, a passenger in the car, was thrown from the vehicle and died.
Court documents state that Cochran and two passengers fled the scene.
