HELENA - U.S. Sen. Jon Tester says he has not yet made a decision on the proposed $25 billion auto industry bailout.
Tester said he has some concerns about the proposal, which is stalling in Congress. A vote is pending in the Senate.
Tester voted against the earlier Wall Street bailout. He said Montanans have "bailout fatigue."
The first-term senator said a lot of industries are struggling and he believes solutions are needed that help all of them.
Among Tester's other concerns about the auto bailout is the lack of guarantees that the money would go toward creating American jobs, since the companies also produce cars in other countries.
