GREAT FALLS - A woman faces a vehicular homicide charge stemming from a fatal head-on collision Nov. 1 near Great Falls.
Fifty-two-year-old Debbie Sue Bedford of Great Falls made an initial appearance in District Court on Thursday.
The crash in the Vaughn area killed 51-year-old Boyd Putnam. He was in a vehicle driven by a man who told police a car approaching from the opposite direction began to turn in front of him, and he couldn't avoid a collision.
Prosecutors say Bedford was impaired while driving. According to court documents, she told the Montana Highway Patrol that she was taking several prescription drugs.
