GREAT FALLS — A 56-year-old Ulm man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl from November 2007 to September 2008.
The Great Falls Tribune reports Bradley Kruse pleaded guilty Tuesday to having sex with the girl and was immediately sentenced to 30 years in prison with 14 suspended. District Judge Julie Macek said he must complete two phases of sex offender treatment before being eligible for parole. Macek rejected two earlier plea agreements, and reluctantly accepted the third. Kruse did not accept responsibility for his actions, saying he was doing what the girl wanted.
Shortly after Kruse was sentenced, his wife, Wendy, was arrested for evidence tampering. Prosecutors say she destroyed pornographic DVDs the victim said Bradley Kruse forced her to watch.
