GREAT FALLS — The Montana Highway Patrol says a 41-year-old Vaughn man has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash west of Vaughn.

Officials say Master Sgt. Ross Wade Tribby with the Montana Air National Guard was riding the four-wheeler up a steep embankment out of a reservoir when he lost control of the ATV at the top of the embankment. He veered to the right and the vehicle landed on top of him.

CPR was conducted at the scene. Tribby was pronounced dead at a Great Falls hospital.
