A woman was found dead early Tuesday morning after a rollover crash approximately 20 miles south of Havre, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Beaver Creek Road and Mooney Coulee Road, said MHP Trooper Lewis Johnson.
There were four people inside a northbound vehicle on Beaver Creek Road when it failed to negotiate a left curve, went off the road, hit a tree and rolled before coming to a stop on its driver's side.
Johnson estimated the car came to a stop about 100 yards from where it left the road.

Of the vehicle's occupants, one woman was pronounced dead on the scene, a woman and a man were taken to an area hospital and a man declined treatment at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and Johnson said it remained to be determined where the woman who died had been situated in the car before the crash.
No one was wearing a seat belt and the vehicle was found rolled onto its driver's side, Johnson said.
Responders were alerted to the crash in Beaver Creek Park after someone in the vehicle was able to find people at a nearby campsite. One of the campers then traveled to a point where they had cellphone service and called 911, Johnson said.
