CODY, Wyo. — Current projects plus volunteer and recreation opportunities at the Nature Conservancy’s Heart Mountain Ranch Preserve northwest of Cody will be part of a program Thursday hosted by the Meadowlark Audubon Society of the Bighorn Basin.

The free public program begins at 7 p.m. in the EOC meeting room in the Park County Courthouse basement in Cody. Light refreshments will be served.

Ranch manager Brian Peters and conservation practitioner Carrie Peters will present on the Conservancy’s vision for the ranch and work the organization is doing there. They will also review bird research, projects for volunteers, and ways the public can enjoy the mountain.
