SHERIDAN, Wyo. — A Big Horn woman faces charges of aggravated homicide by vehicle and driving under the influence of a controlled substance following a Saturday morning collision that killed a Sheridan bicyclist.
A judge set bond at $20,000 cash for 34-year-old driver Hannah M. Terry.
Sheridan resident 65-year-old Larry Hurst was killed in Saturday's crash. His wife, Sara, was taken to a hospital in Billings.
The accident occurred before noon Saturday, on Coffeen Avenue near Sheridan College. Authorities say Terry drove into the couple from behind as they were riding single-file in the emergency lane.
Court documents state that Terry told officers she was taking two narcotic medications for back pain but stated she didn't believe they interfered with her ability to drive.
