PINEDALE, Wyo. — The U.S. Bureau of Land Management's Pinedale Field Office is lifting its prohibition on motorized vehicles in big game winter ranges starting Sunday.
The Pinedale office says the public should be aware that wildlife experienced harsh conditions this winter. Officials say many animals are in poor condition and say people should avoid causing them any additional stress.
The agency reminds the public that motorized vehicle use on public land is limited to existing roads and two-track trails. Driving off-road for cross country travel is not allowed.
