CASPER, Wyo. — Authorities continued Thursday to investigate the alleged shooting of a Casper man that occurred near Conwell Street Wednesday night.
Police say an 18-year-old male walked into the emergency room at Wyoming Medical Center about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday suffering from a single gunshot wound to his arm.
The victim told authorities that he was walking near Conwell Street when an unknown male approached him, pulled out a firearm and shot him once, according to Sgt. Steve Schulz.
The injury was non-life-threatening, and the victim was treated and released from the hospital Wednesday night, Schulz said.
It is unknown what type of gun was used in the shooting. There is no one in custody at this time, and police say the incident remains under investigation.
