CASPER, Wyo. -- Police say they discovered a 36-year-old man passed out behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry in the drive-thru of the west Casper Taco Bell on Sunday night.
Officers say Toby Jay Bell was in the driver's seat with his seat belt on and two bottles of Budweiser beer and a bottle of Crown Royal whiskey beside him.
A Taco Bell employee reported the situation about 7:15 p.m., saying Bell was breathing but "really passed out," according to an affidavit from the case.
After being woken up by an officer, Bell "looked at (the officer), then looked straight out the windshield, stating 'Oh s---' while hitting the brakes as if the vehicle was still in motion," according to the affidavit.
Police conducted field sobriety tests inside the CY Avenue fast-food eatery, as officers did not want Bell performing the tests in ice and snow.
Police say the bottle of Crown Royal found in the Toyota Camry's passenger seat was half empty. The Budweiser bottles, too, were half consumed, police say.
After being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Bell was taken to Natrona County Detention Center. Authorities say his blood alcohol content registered .241 at the jail.
According to police, during an inventory of Bell's Toyota, they also confiscated a .45-caliber handgun.
