CHEYENNE - A Cheyenne man whose body was found in a ditch on the outskirts of the city died from exposure, but investigators are still looking into his death.
An autopsy listed exposure to the cold and hypothermia as the causes of death for Darwin Gifford, 20. Gifford's body was found Tuesday morning. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor as well, Laramie County Sheriff's Department spokesman Gerry Luce said, but toxicology test results will take a couple weeks.
But Laramie County sheriff's deputies reported signs of trauma on Gifford's body.
"We are still investigating this as we go," Luce said.
