GILLETTE - A former Gillette chiropractor has been sentenced to up to one year in jail for his conviction on charges of fondling patients during office visits.
Jack Faubion (FAH'-bee-un) was convicted in April of four counts of third-degree sexual assault. On Monday, he pleaded no contest to six additional charges.
Ten women told police the 32-year-old had inappropriately groped them at his clinic.
District Judge John Brackley on Monday sentenced Faubion to six to 12 years in prison. He then suspended the prison time and issued a 12-month jail sentence.
The judge says it's possible Faubion could be transferred to a halfway house but not until he serves at least four months in the Campbell County jail.
Family members say Faubion has closed his practice and did not renew his state chiropractor license.
