JACKSON, Wyo. — The town of Jackson has installed an electric vehicle charging station just off the south side of the downtown square.
There's also a reserved parking space for motorists who want to charge up their electric cars.
The service is free, at least for now. It's part of a larger movement by the town and other government agencies and organizations to promote the use of electric vehicles around Jackson Hole.
Four stations are being put in altogether.
To use the system, a driver must have an account with ChargePoint, a company that specializes in stations and payment systems for electric cars.
