Try 1 month for $5

CHEYENNE — A former city employee who used city funds to buy makeup and vitamins has been sentenced to two years of probation.

Margaret "Maggie" Carter, 58, pleaded guilty in March to one felony count of submitting false claims or vouchers.

An audit found Carter used a city credit card to buy nearly $500 worth of personal items.

Carter was sentenced Thursday by District Judge Nicholas Kalokathis.
