GILLETTE — A former school employee accused of stealing money from vending machines at Campbell County High School has been released on a personal recognizance bond.
Prosecutors allege Sue A. Harter stole at least $1,000 from machines that sell milk and water. She appeared in court Friday.
A man who answered Harter's phone Sunday said she wasn't immediately available to comment.

The Gillette News-Record reports that Harter counted money from the machines by herself.
She resigned from the school district last year.
