Sage Grouse
Male sage grouse fight for the attention of female sage grouse on a mating ground southwest of Rawlins, Wyo., in 2008.

MOOSE, Wyo.  — No grousing allowed on this tour — unless you're a sage grouse, that is.

Grand Teton National Park will host sage grouse tours over the next three weekends. Park rangers will guide participants to leks, the special locations where people can observe sage grouse as they perform their annual mating dance.

The tours start out from the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center each Saturday and Sunday morning at 5:30.

Reservations are required. To make a reservation, call (307) 730-3399.
