CHEYENNE — The Wyoming House has passed a bill that would require doctors to inform women seeking an abortion that they could view an ultrasound image of their fetus before the procedure.

The bill approved by the House Wednesday would also require women to wait 24 hours before having an abortion. Doctors would have to tell women about birth control options and about the risks of pregnancy and childbirth.
