CASPER, Wyo. - Laramie County voters have decided to move from three to five county commissioners in 2012.
M. Lee Hasenauer had circulated petitions to get the measure on the Nov. 2 ballot. Hasenauer had said that having five commissioners would reduce the amount of power any one person has and lead to better decisions.
Newly elected commissioner Troy Thompson says that now that five commissioners will share a work load that had been shared by three commissioners, it would make sense for commissioners to take a pay cut.
Hasenauer tells KCWY-TV he is thinking of pushing for that.
