CASPER -- Casper Police received two separate reports of pedestrians being shot by nonlethal weapons on Monday, officials say.
The first incident occurred near Greiner Ford about 6 p.m. The victim said he was shot in the hand by what appeared to be an Airsoft gun, but was unsure of the type of ammunition, said Sgt. Deahn Amend. He sustained minor injuries and refused to seek medical attention.
While officers were talking to the first victim, they received a report of a similar incident on CY Avenue, near Natrona County High School. The second victim was walking with his girlfriend and small children when he was hit in the face by a four-inch blow dart, according to police.
Both victims reported the alleged assailants shot out of a light-colored passenger vehicle. The second victim described the suspects as young males.
No arrests have been made.
