RAWLINS, Wyo. — The 37-year-old former bookkeeper of Carbon County Senior Services has pleaded not guilty to a felony larceny charge.
Dora Sisneros, of Rawlins, is accused of writing herself an extra check each month from October 2009 to December 2010. Authorities say the checks amounted to more than $47,000.
She faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.
Court papers say the thefts were found in an audit of the organization.
The Rawlins Daily Times reports that Sisneros was fired Jan. 18.
