ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs/Sweetwater County Airport is looking into adding a couple of charter flights to Nevada, including one to Las Vegas.
Currently, the airport provides a charter flight to Wendover, Nev., which takes off about every two months.
Airport Manager Leah Henderson says there have been requests from the public to provide a charter to Laughlin, Nev.
In addition, Henderson says there is interest in a flight to Las Vegas and the airport is looking at the idea of a twice a week flight.
The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports that Henderson says the airport may have to improve its security equipment to handle additional charter flights.
