CASPER — The Wyoming Department of Education will hold a town hall meeting in Casper on Thursday night to address school bullying.
It is one of about 20 town halls being held in the state on the subject.
The town halls are designed to give teachers, school staff, parents, students and others a chance to address bullying.
The town halls are being conducted by Marvin Nash, a professional rodeo clown from Cheyenne who has co-founded an anti-bullying program that is used in schools nationwide. His Bullying Hurts program relies on mentoring to help schools, parents and students.
The Casper town hall will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at City Hall and will be shown on the local city community channel.
