SHERIDAN, Wyo. - A Sheridan judge has scheduled a hearing on a teenager's request to withdraw his guilty pleas in the home-invasion killing of a prominent businessman last year.
Seventeen-year-old Wyatt Bear Cloud pleaded guilty in September to first-degree murder and other charges in the August 2009 killing of 79-year-old Robert Ernst. The crimes carry a minimum sentence of life in prison.
The Sheridan Press reports that Judge John Fenn has set a hearing for Nov. 30 on Bear Cloud's request to withdraw his pleas.
Juries already have convicted both 20-year-old Dennis Poitra Jr. and 16-year-old Dharminder Vir Sen of first-degree murder in Ernst's killing.
