RIVERTON, Wyo. - A Riverton man accused killing an infant last year is now scheduled to go to trial next April.
Jonathan David Marshall is charged with first-degree murder. He was the sole person supervising 7-month-old Eli C'Bearing on the night of July 28, 2011, when a call came in that the baby wasn't breathing.
The infant died and an investigation showed that the baby had a skull fracture, fractured rib, bruising and other injuries.
Marshall's attorney, Thomas Fleener, says he is lining up expert witnesses to testify in the case. One of those experts can't testify until next year.
Marshall remains in jail. His trial previously was set to begin Jan. 17, March 19 and this past Monday.
