CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Department of Corrections says a state prison inmate has died after a brief illness.
Lawrence Raymond Bell was an inmate at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins.
The agency says the 44-year-old Bell died Saturday at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.
Bell was serving the third of three consecutive sentences. The current sentence was three to five years for interference with custody out of Uinta County.
A routine autopsy has been ordered to determine cause of death.
No other details were available.
