RIVERTON, Wyo. - The board of the Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust plans to meet Monday in Wheatland to make final funding decisions on projects for the fiscal year.
Board Chairman Delaine Roberts said the board will likely allocate between $4.5 and $5.0 million to approximately 30 projects statewide.
The trust funds work on public and private lands that benefit the state's wildlife and natural resources.
Roberts said that the state has lots of issues to address, including projects involving sage grouse and bug-killed timber as well as rivers and wetlands.
